Focus: The Last Supper
Activity: unleavened bread
Verse: Matthew 26:28

We had a very rough week!  Amazon sent me a message that they had oversold their matzah (unleavened bread) and wouldn't be able to get any to us in time.  It was such a disappointment.  I usually do a full Passover lamb dinner during Holy Week, but it didn't happen this year.  With the kids and my sickness, we didn't even get have lamb!


For "The Last Supper" lesson, we got some crackers and sparkling grape juice and talked about how they represent Jesus's body and blood.  We ate and drank together and remembered Jesus.


"Behold the Lamb who bears our sins away,

Slain for us: and we remember:
The promise made that all who come in faith
Find forgiveness at the cross.
So we share in this Bread of life,
And we drink of His sacrifice,
As a sign of our bonds of peace
Around the table of the King."
