Easy and Magical Disney Play Dough Ideas

Easy and Magical Disney Play Dough Ideas // In Our Pond // Star Wars Week // May the Fourth // disney // playdoh // busy box // quiet time // quiet play // play dough kit

For the fourth day of Star Wars week, I've joined with the wonder writers of the Kid Blogger Network to bring you their best Disney play dough ideas.  Kids love to squish, kneed, and roll dough.  These creative kits should keep them entertained and happy for hours.  Most of them use homemade recipes, but store-bought ones can be utilized as well.  Put together a few kits for grandma's house, birthday presents, vacations, and wherever else you end up this summer.

Star Wars

Seeing as it's Star Wars week, I thought I should dedicate a full section to the Galaxy far, far away.

BB8 // Left Brain Craft Brain
The orange, white, and grey in this invitation to play is so striking.

Star Wars // Frugal Fun for Boys
My boys love this little metal spaceships.  They would really enjoy playing with them in the sand play dough, too.

Galaxy // Imagination Tree
The silver stars look so inviting!

Death Star // Little Bins for Little Hands
Lego pieces and shades of grey play dough provide all the parts for building your own Death Star.

Star Wars Kit // The Deyounge Life
Every time I see these kits with dough, loose parts, and figurines, I want to make them.  I haven't made one yet, but this Star Wars one looks like a good place to start.

Printable Characters // Life Over Cs
Although these characters are not specific to play dough play, they would be a quick and easy addition.

Princesses

You can't have Disney without princesses!  Here are 8 royal ideas.

Princess and the Frog // Sugar Spice and Glitter
Here's another amazing play dough kit!  I love the colors- so bright and inviting.

Frozen // Mamma Papa Bubba
This set has many shades of cool colors.  I really like the loose parts additions to this set, too.

Tinkerbell // The Gingerbread House
I like the idea of using dough to make princess dresses.  This green, sparkly recipe is perfect for Tinkerbell.

Fairy Dust // Sugar Spice and Glitter
More fairy dough for a magical playtime.

Olaf // Brie Brie Blooms
The adorable, silly snowman is one of my favorite Disney characters.

Princesses // Playground Park Bench
I like how there is a set of dough for each princess for some color matching and more dress-making fun.

Moana // The Inspiration Edit
These jars were used for party favors- so easy and cute.

Snowman Sparkle // A Little Pinch of Perfect
This dough looks like snow.  If you put it in the fridge
for a few minutes, you can make it cold like snow too.
